Sears Model 54 "Buffalo Bill", .30-30 cal.lever action carbine.  Serial #273810, mfg. by Winchester.  Good condition.  Unique Winchester Model 94 that was produced for Sears in honor of Buffalo Bill Cody. Not often seen! 20” barrel has excellent bore, 96% blue.  Front barrel band has incorrect screw.   Receiver has little remaining finish with some dinged screws and scratch marks. “Buffalo Bill” script on left side of receiver.  “Wm. Cody Chief of Scouts” on top tang.  Forearm is original, butt stock fits poorly and is probably a replacement.  Action works fine.  Interesting Model 94 variant.  C&R OK.
