Saginaw S.G. M1 Carbine, .30 carbine cal. auto rifle, Serial # 3411758. Excellent condition carbine used by the Bavaria Forestry Police and is marked so on the left side of the receiver. Nice early carbine features like a flat bolt, no bayonet lug, and flip sights. Barrel is Inland and dated 3-43. Excellent bore. Finish is excellent and 98% on the receiver and bolt, slide and trigger group. The finish is 75% on the barrel with traces of freckling.  The trigger assembly is marked  “LG KT 0259”. The hammer is Winchester. "S" marked rear flip up sight. The op-rod is marked 4778. The bolt is stamped 44S. The stock is very nice and in excellent condition with only one hit on the right side.  The number 1788 is in the well and the hand guard is marked 1758 and 5479.  This is a very nice carbine with lots of condition and an interesting history.
