Mauser Model 1896, .30 Mauser cal. auto pistol. Serial #401893, mfg.  1917.  Good condition with matching numbers.  Grand old "Broomhandle" with 5 ½” barrel. Bore is dark with pitting. Finish has been cold blued over hits and field wear. Pitting is mostly on the sides of the barrel and some at the wood line of grips.  1000 meter sights with a blade front.  Grips are in very good condition, with some general wear.  Slotted for stock. Crown over U on the left side of the barrel.  Lanyard ring.  Chamber is marked "WaffenFabrik Mauser Obernorf YN". Not import marked.  Includes  150 rounds of PPU ammunition that will have to be shipped separate from the gun. C&R OK.
