U.S.  Quality Hardware,  M1 Carbine, .30 carbine cal. auto rifle. Serial #4784336. Excellent condition carbine issued to the Bavaria Rural Police and is marked so on the left side of the receiver. Nice  clean little carbine. Barrel is Winchester marked and is not dated.  Excellent bore. Finish is excellent and 95% with edge and minor handing wear.  The trigger assembly is marked “LGK 000271” The Hammer is marked “C-17”.   “I.R. CO.” marked rear ramp sight. The op-rod is “U” with 4336. The flat bolt is stamped  “EM-Q”. The stock is excellent has been lacquered by the Germans with some moderate finish chipping and wear. The stock well is stamped “S C B” above 170. The hand guard is not marked.  Early barrel band without bayonet lug.  Lever safety.  This is a very clean little carbine that served in WW II then throughout the Cold War. Very cool collectible.
