U.S. Ithaca 1911A1, .45 acp cal. single action military auto pistol.  Serial #1843102, mfg. 1944 by Ithaca Arms Co.  Excellent condition.  Standard officer issue during WWII.  5" F and P marked blued barrel has an excellent bore, fixed military sights.  95% matte blue finish with light high edge wear and some scratches on the frame near the slide stop and some finish wear on the straps.  FJA inspector mark on the left side of the frame and United States Property and M1911A1 U.S. Army on the right side.  Faint crossed cannons inspector mark on the right side.  Blued hammer.  Checkered brown plastic grips are in great shape.  Comes with one "S" code WWII magazine that's in nice shape with some finish wear.  One of the more scarce WWII contract .45's. Really nice condition Ithaca from the big one!  C&R OK.
