Winchester Model 70 Standard Grade, .375 H&H cal. bolt action rifle.   Serial #226862, mfg. 1952.  Very good condition.  25” barrel has excellent bore, ramp front sight and two leaf folding rear, 96% blue with crisp address markings, slight muzzle wear.  Receiver has excellent soft blue finish with light edge wear.  Matching numbers bolt.  Trigger guard and floor plate have 96% finish with light edge wear and few light marks. Stock has excellent finish and checkering with some light handling marks.  Factory solid rubber recoil pad, factory sling swivels.  Fitted with Redfield 2 3/4x scope with clear optics, plain cross hairs in Redfield steel mounts.    An excellent post-war .375 – ready for Africa or the big bears!   C&R OK.
