Winchester Model 70 Standard Grade, .270 cal. bolt action rifle.   Serial #120543, mfg. 1949.  Very good condition.  24” barrel has excellent bore, front and rear sights are missing.   Barrel has 90% blue, crisp markings, slight muzzle wear and scratch marks. Receiver has some edge wear.  serial number not visible on bolt.  Trigger guard and floor plate show edge wear.   Stock has very good original finish and checkering with few  light handling marks, correct checkered butt plate.  Fitted with Leupold Vari-X-II 2x-7x variable scope with clear optics, plain cross hairs.  Bolt action works smoothly.  Very nice, post-war M70 in a classic caliber!   C&R OK.
