Winchester Model 64, .30-30 cal. lever action rifle.  Serial #1314747, mfg. 1942.  Fair condition.  24” barrel has excellent bore.  Barrel has 30% remaining finish with areas of surface corrosion, crisp address markings.  Correct ramp front sight, rear sight is missing.  Receiver and lever have little remaining finish, several fine dings and have been touched up with cold blue.  Forearm has good original finish with several handling marks.  Butt stock has plastic wood repair behind tangs and has been refinished with oil.  Fajen butt plate.   Fitted with Williams receiver sight.  Action works fine.  The old standard  “deer rifle.”  Good candidate for restoration.  C&R OK.
