Winchester Model 12, 12 ga. slide action shotgun.  Serial 398947, mfg. 1925.  Good condition.  28” round barrel has shiny bore with very good original blue, crisp address markings.  2 ¾” chamber, choked MOD.  Receiver is mostly gray, lacking any original finish.  Butt stock and forearm have been refinished with tung oil.  1” wood repair at toe of butt, correct butt plate.  Action works fine.  The old reliable!  C&R OK.
