Winchester Model 1892 Deluxe, .25-20 cal. lever action rifle. Serial #639200, mfg. 1911. Excellent condition. A real screamer of a '92 and very special rifle with lots of factory custom features. 24" half-round/half-octagon barrel has a very good bore. Blue is wonderful and 94% with just some light thinning and some light corrosion at the carry area of the receiver (see photo) - couple of corrosion marks on the barrel as expected - see photo. Sharp proofmarks on barrel and receiver. Vivid barrel address and caliber designation. Wood is dark and beautiful with lots of wonderful figure - nice and smooth without marks. Crescent buttplate. Lyman 56 receiver side mounted sight. Flip-up globe front sight. Button magazine. Special order double-set triggers which is rare to see. Checkered pistol grip and checkered forearm. A minute crack along the left side of the tang. Cody data sheet indicates that this rifle had its serial number put on November 8, 1911 - no additional information. Elegant! Gorgeous!
