Rare little version of the famous Model 39 with short 16" barrel, buckhorn sights, custom brass peep sight and straight grip stock. Wood is to-die-for and is the BEST wood I've ever seen on a production Model 39! Wow! Lots of burl and dark wavy figure in the buttstock and the forearm. Hard butt. Excellent bore. No hood on front ramp sight. Good tight action. 99% blue. Just a couple of slight marks on the beautiful wood. Hard item to find! Gunrunner West item.
