Browning Challenger, .22 long rifle cal. automatic pistol.  Serial #53817U5, mfg. Belgium 1965.  Excellent condition.  4 ½” barrel has excellent bore and 95% original blue, slight edge wear on left side.  Frame, slide and trigger guard are beautifully engraved with medium scrollwork.  Custom contoured grips have matching scroll and fine checkering.  Correct magazine.  Action works fine – a really elegant .22 auto-loader!  C&R OK.
