Winchester Legendary Frontiersman Commemorative Model 94, .38-55 cal. lever action rifle.  Serial #LF14017, mfg. 1979.  Excellent condition.  Winchester's tribute to the mountain men of lore. 26” round barrel has excellent bore and blue.   Coin finished receiver has “Mountain Man” scenes on either side with few slight scratches.  Blued lever is excellent.  Walnut stock and forearm have extensive checkering and nice figure with few slight handling marks.  Indian fighting scene medallion in butt.  Action has been worked, but does not appear to have been fired.  Great caliber. No box or papers. Great display piece.
