Smith & Wesson First Model (Model of 1891), .22 long rifle cal. single shot target pistol.  Serial #18751, mfg. 1899.  Good condition.  10” ribbed barrel has worn rifling.  Barrel and frame have approx. 50% original finish with normal handling and muzzle wear, crisp address markings.  Sheard front sight, correct adjustable rear.  Original target grips have very good finished and checkering with a couple of small dings.  Action locks up tightly – a beautiful old target pistol!  C&R OK.
