Winchester Model 97, 16 ga. slide action shotgun.  Serial #969170, mfg. 1952.  Very good condition.  Lots of bright blue on this classic field shotgun! Most of them are gray, gray, gray, but this beauty is wonderful. 28” barrel has shiny bore, approx. 70% original blue, thinning near receiver.  2 ¾” chamber, choked MOD.  Receiver and trigger guard have 70% original blue, thinning on bottom with edge wear and some dings from take down.   Stock and forearm have very good original finish with numerous handling marks.  Non-original recoil pad added.  LOP is 13 ½”. Slide action works fine – not often seen in 16 ga.  Hard to find item! C&R OK.
