Marlin Model 19-G, 12 ga. slide action shotgun.  Serial #A15682, mfg. 1907.  Good condition. 28” barrel has shiny bore with light pitting.  2 ½” chamber.  Bore shows no choke, so probably opened up. .  Barrel, receiver and tangs have little remaining finish, mostly turning patina.  Butt stock is smooth with little original varnish remaining, forearm has a crack on right side.  Original Marlin butt plate is well-worn with a chip missing at bottom.  Slide action works smoothly.  Not considered to be safe to shoot at this point – an interesting wall-hanger from the early days of American slide actions.  C&R OK.
