U.S. Smith and Wesson Model 1917,  Lend Lease,  .45 acp cal. double action military revolver.   Serial # 158352, mfg  1917. Very good condition.  6" barrel with very good bore.  70% blue finish with wear and spots of pitting.  Wood grips show a fair amount of use with several dings.  Lanyard ring present. British proofs on the barrel, cylinder, and frame.  "U.S. Property" marked under the barrel. A very cool piece of history that saw service in WW I then was sent to England in WW II as a "Lend Lease".
