Colt Army Special, .38 Long Colt cal. double action revolver.  Serial #424517, mfg. 1917.  Good condition.  6” barrel has very good bore and crisp address markings.  Barrel and frame have approx. 30% original finish remaining.  Cylinder has 20% finish with index marks. Plastic horn grips do not fit correctly.  Double action works fine, but cylinder has considerable play at lock-up.  Good shooter or restoration project.  C&R OK.
