U.S. Colt Model 1909, .45 Colt cal. double action military revolver. Serial #48631. Standard U.S. officer's issue during the Phillippines Moro war. Reblued to very good condition. 5 1/2" barrel has a good bore. Model and serial number on butt (see photo). Nice mechanics. Smooth walnut grips are excellent. Lanyard loop. Bluing is 85% with some rub marks on the barrel (see photo) and top strap (see photo) - some scrubbing/pitting. "United States Property" marked on underside of barrel. "R.A.C." inspector's mark on rear of frame's right side. Much U.S. military history here! C&R OK.
