Stevens Favorite, .22 cal. single shot rifle. Serial #555. Fair condition. 24” half octagon barrel has dirty, corroded bore, no remaining finish with lots of surface corrosion. Barrel is from a Stevens 44 action. Action has traces of case coloring with “Favorite” stamped on top. Stevens 44 forearm is very good. Favorite butt stock has very good finish. Butt plate is missing. Action is tight and works OK. Not a shooter - needs lots of TLC to come alive again. C&R OK.
