Walther P-38 “Mod HP”, 9mm cal. double action military auto pistol.  Serial #11239, mfg. by Walther, Nazi Germany.  Very good condition.  Matching serial numbers.  Standard officer issue during WWII.  5" barrel has an excellent bore, fixed military sights.  Right side of the slide has the Eagle/N proof, single Eagle/359 (partially pinged out) military acceptance mark and electro-pencil matching serial number.  90% blue finish with high edge finish wear and some corrosion on the right side of the muzzle and scattered areas of finish loss.  Locking block is in the white.  Black bakelite lined grips are in good condition with scratches.  P.38v "U" code magazine is in very good condition.  A less common variant of the famous P-38 pistol.  No visible import mark.  C&R OK.
