U.S. Colt Model 1911, .45 acp cal. auto military pistol. Serial #269435, mfg 1918. Very good condition. Standard U.S. officer's issue during World War I. Finish appears to have been touched up with cold blue.  5”  unmarked barrel has a good bore with some light frosting.  Right side of the slide has vivid lettering and is U.S. Army marked with an Aug.19, 1913 patent date on the left side of the slide. Fixed sights.  Arched mainspring housing with lanyard ring.  Slide is not numbered under the gate. Action is tight. Trigger has been serrated.  Wood diamond walnut  grips are in excellent condition.  “S” marked G.I. magazine in excellent condition.  A nice one for your collection. Still a beauty after 99 years!  C&R OK.
