Smith & Wesson Model One, 3rd Issue, .22 short cal. single action target revolver.  Serial #34330, mfg. 1870.  Antique. Excellent condition.  3 3/16” barrel has dark bore with strong rifling.  Barrel and frame have 98% nickel finish with crisp address markings.  Cylinder has some light corrosion in flutes and index marks. Birds head butt with smooth rosewood grips are excellent.  Singe action works nicely, lockup is very slightly loose.  In non-original wooden box with a complete box of Winchester .22 short cartridges.  Factory letter confirms configuration and indicates shipment on July 27, 1870. Wooden box probably supplied by Robinson (distributor). A nice S&W collector’s piece with all of the goodies.  Antique, can ship to your door.
