U.S. M1 Garand, .30-06 cal. auto military rifle. Serial #5706291, mfg. 1953 by Harrington & Richardson Arms Co.  Very good condition.  Standard issue for U.S. troops during Korean War.  H&R receiver - SA bolt, op-rod, trigger group.  LMR  marked barrel is dated "11-53".  Very good bore - three spots of light pitting towards the muzzle - the muzzle has been recrowned and measurers at a ME 1.  TE is 2.5. Parkerization is 90% with a few spots of old pitting.  Walnut stock is very good with a few war hits and dings, a couple dark spots - could use a couple coats of oil. "American Eagle" cartouche on left side.  Should be a great shooter! Look out Camp Perry! C&R OK.
