Colt Challenger, .22 long rifle cal. automatic pistol.  Serial #8580C, mfg. 1950.  Excellent condition.  Seldom seen version of the Woodsman that is much like the Huntsman with fixed sights. 4 ½” barrel has excellent bore and blue with crisp address markings.  Frame and slide have 95% original blue finish with very slight wear marks.  Checkered brown plastic grips are excellent.  Correctly marked magazine.  Bottom magazine release. Action works fine – a pristine example of a limited run version of the Woodsman!  C&R OK.
