U.S. Colt 1911A1, .45 cal. auto military pistol. Serial #1654795, mfg. 1944. Excellent condition. Appears to have been reparkerized to 100%.  5” H.S. marked barrel has an excellent shiny bore.  Frame has vivid lettering and is U.S. Army and "G.H.D." inspector marked/proofed. Ordinance "bomb" on right side of the frame above the grip panel. Aug.19, 1913 patent date on the left side of the slide. Fixed sights.  Slide is not numbered under the gate which is correct. Action is tight and trigger is crisp. Maroon plastic G.I. grips are in excellent condition. Lanyard ring.  "L" marked G.I. magazine in good condition.  A great Colt that looks like new!
