Savage Model 1905 Target, .22 short, long or long rifle cal. single shot rifle.  Serial #39174.  Good condition.   22” barrel has fair bore with worn rifling.  Crisp address markings and correct Savage No. 21 rear sight.  Barrel/receiver have 30% original finish turning patina.  Bolt has some corrosion – action works fine.  Stock has been nicely re-finished. Correct and unique scheutzen –style butt plate.  An extremely rare deluxe boy’s rifle from the early 20th century!  C&R OK.
