J. C. Higgins Model 44DL, .22 long rifle cal. lever action rifle.  NSN.  Very good condition, mfg. by Marlin.  22” barrel has excellent bore with 70% thinning blue with some very light surface rust.   Alloy receiver has 85% blue finish.  Tube fed magazine.  Lever and trigger have excellent silver finish.   Stock has nice walnut with very good finish with few handling marks on left side.  Lever action works fine – a nice quality lever action .22!
