J.C. Higgins Model 583.16, 12 ga. bolt action shotgun.  NSN.  Good condition.   28” barrel has excellent bore.  2 ¾” chamber, choked FULL.  Barrel and receiver have 80% original blue.  Stock has been sanded smooth and re-finished with tung oil.  Bolt action works fine, tube fed magazine.  A good “meat gun” - great for bunnies!
