British military heliograph, Helio 5 Mark V, trip-pod, strap.  Good condition.  Used by the military from the late 1800s and through both world wars.  Marked on the back "Helio 5 Mark V L.A. M. No B, 40666."  Also marked Standlamp "A" MK II Can-ada LTD., 1943.  Appears to be in fine functioning order and complete.  The mirror is very good and there's some paint marks to the metal.  The metal hardware is in good shape.  Has a three wooden leg tri-pod.  Also comes with a canvas carrying strap.  Uncommon military item used for signaling troops.
