Jap. Type 38 Carbine, 6.5 mm Jap. cal. military bolt action rifle. Serial #147210, mfg. Kokura, Japan during WWII. Fair condition. Non-matching bolt. 19" barrel has a very good bore, fixed front and 4-20 marked adjustable rear sights. Mum is intact on the chamber. The bolt has issues opening and there's likely some internal parts missing or broken. Wood stock is in good shape with typical war hits. Metal butt plate, has front sling swivel, missing rear swivel. Should be taken to a gunsmith to assess repairs. C&R OK.
