Ruger Blackhawk, .41 magnum cal. single action revolver.  Serial #40-16888.  Very good condition.  Pre-transfer bar variation.  6 1/2" barrel has an excellent bore, fixed front and adjustable rear sights.  90% blue finish with some muzzle finish loss and high edge wear on the cylinder and an index line and light wear on the butt and straps.  The smooth action locks up solid.  Ruger marked smooth walnut wood grips are in very good shape with some hits on the bottom edge and some impressions.
