Browning Auto-5 "Sweet 16", 16 ga. auto-loading shotgun. Serial #S80871, mfg. Belgium, 1957.  Excellent condition.  Super early production "Sweet 16" with lightened frame and that great pointability that the Belgium Auto-5's were known for. 28” plain barrel has shiny bore and 97% blue.  2 ¾” chamber. Choked MOD.  Receiver and trigger guard have 95% blue with slight edge wear.  Stock and forearm have excellent original finish with strong checkering and few minor handling marks, one small ding on right side forearm.  Some finish flaking near butt plate.  Classic Browning long recoil action works perfectly.  Beautifully made and desirable – the “aristocrat” of automatic shotguns.  You could of course add a vent rib barrel.
