Colt Detective Special, .38 Special cal. double action revolver.  Serial #963692, mfg. 1968.  Very good condition.  2” barrel has excellent bore.  Fixed front sight and notch rear.   Barrel and frame have 85% original blue with slight muzzle wear and very faint ID marks scratched into frame on either side ahead of trigger guard – barely visible.  Cylinder has 80% blue with edge wear and index marks.  Colt walnut round butt grips are very good with some finish and checkering wear.  Double action works fine and locks up tightly.  Excellent concealed carry or home defense revolver!
