Colt New Service Model 1909, U.S. Army, .45 Long Colt cal. double action military revolver.  Serial #48295, mfg. 1911.  Good condition.  5 ½” barrel has excellent bore, very good address markings, 75% blue with muzzle wear and numerous light scratches.  Frame has 60% blue with edge wear and numerous light scratch marks, wearing thin on top.  Frame has “RAC” & “CTC” markings.  Cylinder has 50% blue with edge and index wear and fine scratches.  Trigger has 50% blue, polished hammer. Smooth walnut grips are replacements.  Double action works fine and locks up tightly.  Just the thing for stopping crazed Moro tribesmen!  Much U.S. military history here! C&R OK.
