Smith & Wesson Model K-200, .38 Special cal. conversion double action revolver.  Serial #967964, mfg. 1944.  Very good condition.  4” barrel has excellent bore with crisp markings, fixed sights.  Barrel and frame have 90% blue finish.  Originally chambered for the British .38/200 cartridge and converted to .38 Special.  Frame is engraved:  “Converted by Cogswell & Harrison, Ltd., London” on left side.  Cylinder is 90% with slight edge wear and index marks. Hammer and trigger have 50% case colors.  Beautiful fully checkered wood grips are excellent.   Double action works fine and locks up tightly.  In plain cardboard box.  Interesting piece of WWII history!  C&R OK.
