U.S. Eddystone Model 1917, .30-06 cal. bolt action rifle.   Serial #1292543, mfg. 1918.  Very good condition.  26” High Standard barrel is a WWII replacement with excellent bore.  ME is “1”.  Barrel and receiver have very good military finish with some edge wear, crisp markings.  Cartridge follower has been altered to allow bolt closing on empty magazine.  Bolt has some fine surface corrosion. Trigger guard and floor plate are very good.  Stock has very good original finish with few light handling marks.  Stock hardware is excellent.  Bolt action works fine – an excellent shooter!  C&R OK.
