Fading blue - some going to patina on barrel. Patina on receiver. Wood is good with marks (numbers on the right side of the buttstock). 1879 patent date on barrel. Vivid markings. Lyman side peep sight is missing the top aperture. Carbine steel butt. Full length stock with grooved forearm and barrel band. Front high blade sight. These are highly accurate little target rifles!
