Winchester Model 62A "Gallery Gun", .22 Short cal. slide action rifle.  Serial #235395, mfg. 1948.  Good condition.   23” barrel has very good bore with strong rifling, opens sights, crisp address markings.  Barrel has 70% finish, turning patina with four tapped holes in left side ahead of breech.   Receiver has 75% finish with edge and slide wear and some fine surface corrosion.  Matching numbers on lower tang and receiver.  Stock and forearm have good original finish with heavy finish wear on left side.  Slide action works fine.  A true veteran of a bygone era!  C&R OK.
