Winchester Model 1897, 12 ga. slide action shotgun.  Serial #E611877, mfg. 1917.  Good condition.  28” barrel has shiny bore, 20% original finish - Poly Choke.  2 ¾” chamber.  Receiver and trigger guard have little remaining finish with numerous light hits and scratches.  Forearm is good, stock has nice figure with some light marks, crude attempt at checkering on left side.  Action works fine – typical ’97!  Good parts gun or candidate for conversion to defense gun.  C&R OK.
