Germany.  Excellent condition.  24” barrel has excellent bore, gold bead front sight and three-leaf folding rear.  Barrel has part-octagon profile with elegant full-length top rib.  Square bridge receiver has integral bases for detachable scope, stippled front receiver ring.  Barrel and receiver have near 100% soft blue.  Double set triggers and lever opening floor plate have excellent finish with slight edge wear.  Walnut sporter stock has excellent smooth finish and checkering with narrow European sling swivels.  Hairline crack repaired at toe of butt.  Correct Mauser butt plate.  Bolt action and double set triggers work smoothly.  Beautiful, elegant Mauser sporter!   C&R OK.
