Colt Model 1878 "Frontier Six-Shooter", .44-40 cal. double action revolver.  Serial #17?251.  Good refinished condition.  4 5/8” barrel has very good bore, fixed sights.  Barrel and frame have heavily polished nickel finish.  Faint “Colt Frontier Six Shooter” address on left side of barrel. Cylinder has very good polished finish.  Smooth white ivory grips have some fine dings and cracks.  Square butt frame is not correct for this model.  Double action works OK.  Includes S.D. Myres leather holster and belt.  An unusual Colt!   Antique, can ship to your door.
