Mauser 98K "byf", 8mm Mauser cal. military bolt action rifle.  Serial #9491e,  mfg. by Mauser during WWII.  Good condition.  Russian WWII capture.  Mismatched numbers with many forced match electro pencil numbers on the bolt, some other parts and the stock.  24" barrel has and excellent bore, fixed front and adjustable rear military sights.  95% Russian dip blue finish over the original finish.  "byf" marked on the receiver.  Receiver is drilled with four holes for a scope mount.  Nazi marks present.  Laminated military wood furniture is in good shape with expected war dings and hits.  Steel butt plate.  Includes original leather military sling.  Import marked on the barrel.  This one likely saw action in WWII and beyond.  C&R OK.
