Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight, 16 ga. slide action shotgun.  Serial #187542, mfg. 1948.  Good condition.  28” plain barrel has clean bore, 60% finish.  2 ¾” chamber, choked FULL.  Receiver and trigger guard have 60% finish with carry wear and fine surface corrosion.  Corn cob forearm is very good.  Butt stock has good original finish and checkering with a hairline crack behind receiver.  Numerous light handling marks and a wear line from a slip-on pad.  Slide action works fine.
