Winchester Model 52C Sporter, .22 long rifle cal. bolt action rifle.  Serial #90834C, mfg. 1956.  Excellent condition.  24” barrel has excellent bore, crisp address markings.  Ramp front sight, rear receiver sight is missing.  Barrel and receiver have 98% original blue with slight muzzle wear and couple light scratch marks on left side receiver.  Floor plate and trigger guard have 90% blue with some edge wear, slightly dinged screws, correct magazine.  Stock has excellent finish with strong checkering, some light handling marks and two finish scrapes on left side below cheek piece.  Correct checkered steel butt plate.  Black forend tip has some light handling marks, steel grip cap has some finish wear.  Correct “Super Grade” sling swivels.  Speed lock action works fine – an excellent example of America’s finest .22 sporting rifle!  C&R OK.
