U.S. Springfield Krag Model 1898, .30-40 cal. bolt action military rifle.  Serial #329475, mfg. 1901.  Very good condition.  30” barrel has very good bore with strong rifling.  Correct model 1901 rear sight.  Barrel and receiver have good original finish with crisp markings, lots of fine surface corrosion.   Stock has very good finish with some handling marks.  Large letter “W” on right side on butt.  Crisp cartouche and “P” mark behind trigger guard.  Steel butt plate.  Bolt action works fine.  A nice example from the end of Krag production.
