Remington Model 31, 16 ga. slide action shotgun.  Serial #544764, mfg. 1946.  Good condition.  28” plain barrel has clean bore, 85% blue.  2 ¾” chamber, choked FULL.   Receiver has 70% blue with edge wear and some fine scratches.  Butt stock has been shortened, butt plate poorly fitted.  LOP is 12 ¼”.  Stock has 50% finish with several handling dings.  Slide action works smoothly – these are nicely made!  C&R OK.
