Colt 1860 Army, .44 cal. percussion single action revolver.  Serial #66422, mfg. 1862.  Antique. Good condition.  Nice representative sample of an Union officer's sidearms during the Civil War. 8” barrel has a good bore with strong rifling – needs cleaning.  New York barrel address is faint.  Barrel and frame have little original finish with some dings.  All matching numbers.  Cylinder has no remaining finish, engraving scene not visible.  Brass trigger guard and grip frame are good.  Smooth walnut grips are very good, no inspector’s marks visible.  Single action works OK.   Authentic piece of Civil War history!  Antique, can ship to your door.
