U.S. M1 Garand, .30-06 cal. auto military rifle. Serial #3161801, mfg. 1944 by Springfield Armory.  Excellent condition.  Standard GI issue during World War II. 24” SA barrel has excellent bore – dated: “7-63”. ME is 1.5.  TE is 2.5. SA correct cast trigger group, op-rod and bolt. Receiver parkerization is 95% with finish minor edge wear – crisp markings.  Walnut stock has very good finish with some light dings.  Letters: “RRAD” stamped into butt.  Handguard and front barrel guard are in excellent condition. Action works fine. An excellent example!  C&R OK.
