Savage Sporter, .25-20 cal. bolt action rifle.  Serial # 44045.  Good condition.  24 1/2" barrel has a very good bore, fixed front and Savage marked adjustable rear sights.  70% fading blue finish with light peppering and rust spots at the muzzle.  The top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for a scope mount.  The action works well.  Smooth wood stock with schnabel tip is in very good shape with some small marks and impressions.  One 2" crack in the stock on the right side at the butt plate.  Savage marked steel butt plate. Comes with one unmarked aftermarket magazine.  C&R OK.
